You tried to shake the feeling, but you just couldn't.
You found yourself walking into the woods. It was surprisingly dark and cold.
Crickets chirped noisily all around you, your feet crunching over dead leaves and snapping trees. You heard a rustling noise and a flash of something white, but you just thought it was a bird. Continuing deeper into the woods, you started to feel like you were being watched.
You stopped in front of a lard cedar tree, and sat down underneath it. You trailed your fingers in the soft dirt absentmindedly, Humming to yourself. You felt a strange sense of freedom and peace unlike anything you've ever felt before. You remembered a song that your mother used to sing to you before you went to sleep, when you were a child. It was a strange song and you didn't know what the words meant, but you still loved to sing it. You closed you eyes.
"Come Little One,
No need to fear
You must know
That I am near.
Come Little one,
No need to run
You will have so much fun.
Through the forest you go,
Though you never will know
All the thing you imagine are true...
I don't mean to frighten You.
Come Little One
No need to cry,
I will teach you to fly.
Come Little One
This much is true,
I do truly love you.
You opened you eyes, you saw a figure quickly running through the trees.
"H-hey!" You called.
But whoever this was.
They were gone.
You stood up and dusted yourself off. Heading back towards home. It was already dark.
You headed up to your room, changing into your (Insert Favorite Color) pajamas and sliding into your bed. It was quite soft.
You peeked out of the window next to your bed and stared out into the dark woods that you had been in less than an hour ago.
You caught a glimpse of something. Someone was standing there... only...
They had no face...
"What the..." You rubbed your eyes. When you looked again.
It had vanished.
"Maybe I'm just tired." You yawned.
Drifting off to sleep.
The next day you awoke feeling strange. You showered and dressed in a Lavender shirt and grey faded skinny jeans. You combed out you (Insert Hair Color And Type) Hair and headed downstairs. Amberlyn and Aunt Kathy were in the living room, watching TV.
"Morning, (Insert Your Name)." Amber said.
Good Morning." You smiled. Tira came out of the kitchen and handed you a pop-tart.
"Thanks." You took a bite.
Tira just nodded and went back into the kitchen.
You sat down and watched TV with Amber and Kathy for a while.
"Can I go for a walk?" You asked.
Kathy nodded. "Sure, Try not to go too far okay?"
You slipped on your silver gladiator sandals and headed outside, deciding to skip the visit to the woods. Instead you walked casually down the sidewalk. There were peaople walking around, dressed as if they were either celebrities or millionares, which they probably were.
You saw the school that Amber had said that you would be attending. It was huge, with a fountain, football field, tennis court, and even a rooftop garden. You were completely absorbed by the elegant simplicity of the school that you didn't even notice the sidewalk you were on had turned into steps. You tripped on the first step and you fell forward. You hardly had anytime to yell before you felt someone holding you up.
You stood, still holding on to the persons arm.
"Thank you." You smiled gratefully.
You looked up and saw the most gorgeous guy you had ever seen.
He had long honey brown hair and blue eyes. He flashed a white smile.
"You alright?" He motioned to the fact that you were still latched onto his arm.
You blushed, releasing his arm. "Oh- S-sorry... Yeah I'm fine... Thanks again."
He just looked at you, A curious look on his face.
"You new here? I've never seen you before."
"Yeah.. I just moved here." You shrugged.
"Cool... I'm Jeff, By the way.
